గ్రేటెస్ట్ లీడర్!!!

Jules Masserman- సైకియాట్రీ ఫీల్డ్ లో ఉన్నోల్లకు ఈ పేరు తెలిసే ఉంటుంది. ఈయన రాసిన అనేక పుస్తకాలు సైకియాట్రీలో Text Books లా ఉన్నాయి. ఈయన అమెరికన్ సైకియాట్రిక్ అసోషియేషన్ అధ్యక్షుడిగా ఉన్నారు. – University of Chicago, NorthWestern University లలో సైకాలజీ ప్రొఫెసర్ గా మూడు దశాబ్ధాలపాటు బోధించారు. ఈయన రాసిన పుస్తకాలు-

ఈయన జులై 15, 1974 నాడు, ప్రఖ్యాత Times మ్యాగజైన్ లో, ‘Who Were Histories Great Leaders?’ అనే టైటిల్ తో ఓ Article రాశారు. దాన్లో, ఓ లీడర్ గొప్పదనాన్ని కొలవడానికి Bench Mark గా వేటిని తీసుకోవచ్చో కూడా వివరించారు. ఆయన అభిప్రాయం ప్రకారం – “Leaders must fulfill three functions:1.Provide for the well being of the people,2.Provide a social organization in which people feel relatively secure, and3.Provide them with a set of beliefs…”People like Louis Pasteur and Edward Jonas Salk are leaders in the first sense. People like Gandhi, Confucius on one hand, and Alexander and Caesar on the other, are leaders in the second and perhaps the third sense. Jesus and Buddha belong in the third category alone. Perhaps the greatest leader of all time was Muhammad, who combined all three functions. To a lesser degree, Moses did the same.”-Time magazine, July 15, 1974.సహజంగా తమకు మేలు చేసినవారినో, తాము అప్పటికే నమ్మిన సిద్ధాంతాల్ని బలపర్చే వారినో, తమకు భవిష్యత్తులో మేలు చేస్తారనే నమ్మకమున్నోల్లనో.. జనాలు నాయకులుగా గుర్తిస్తారు, గొప్పవారుగా కీర్తిస్తారు. కానీ, ఇవేవీ లేకపోయినా, కేవలం అకడమిక్ గా స్టడీ చేసి మహమ్మద్ ప్రవక్తను గ్రేటెస్ట్ అని అభివర్ణించిన Jules Masserman లాంటి వెస్ట్రన్ స్కాలర్స్ చాలా మంది ఉన్నారు. ఇలాంటి విషయాలు ముస్లిమేతరులకు తెలియకున్నా, ప్రవక్త గౌరవం గురించి కంగారుపడే ముస్లిం యువకులు మాత్రం తప్పక తెలుసుకోవలసి ఉంది.
