“ప్రపంచంలోని ప్రతిమానవుని ఆత్మా, నా ఆత్మలాగే, సర్వసమానమనే భావన హిందువుల్లో ఎప్పుడూ లేదు. మరో పక్క, నా అనుభవం ప్రకారం – మానవ సమానత్వాన్ని అత్యంత గొప్పగా చెప్పిన మతమేదైనా ఉందంటే – అది ఇస్లామే, ఇస్లాం మాత్రమే.”
-“మహమ్మదీయ మతం జనాలకు ఓ సందేశం ఇచ్చింది. అది సమానత్వం. అదే ప్రేమ.
జాతి,వర్ణం లాంటి బేధాలకు ఆస్కారమే లేదు.”

” భారత దేశంలో మహమ్మదీయుల పాలన – పేదలు,అణగారిన వర్గాలకు విముక్తిని ప్రసాదించింది. దాని ఫలితంగానే- మన ఐదోవంతు ప్రజలు ముస్లింలుగా మారారు. వీరందరూ ఖడ్గం, బెదిరింపుల ద్వారానే ముస్లింలుగా మారారని భావించడం పిచ్చితనం తప్ప మరోటికాదు.
(The Mohammedan conquest of India came as a salvation to the downtrodden, to the poor. That is why one-fifth of our people have become Mohammedans. It was not the sword that did it all. It would be the height of madness to think it was all the work of sword and fire.)
